I’ve collected the adorable postcards of babies and fairies in flowers and pumpkins for years. I admire the work of Anne Geddes as the pictures are so cute. I always wished it my was my kids and my granddaughters in those flowers and fairy cards I collected. I never imagined I could get similar images of my own little cherubs. Ever since I was a little girl, I adored fairies and angels. When I had my own kids, they lived in tutus and fairy dresses.  I wanted to create beautiful portraits of them that were more than just a cheesy boring pixi photo in a bucket, or a fluffy teddy bear image. It’s so amazing how much has changed since I started photofaeries in 1999. Back then, I was shooting on film and having the film scanned to a cd disk. Now, you can EMAIL an image straight off your phone – send it online to photofaeries be printed onto cups, keyrings, tshirts or even school bags. The really amazing thing is the facebook phenomenon – clients love shooting, creating then posting these beautiful fairies as their profile pictures and galleries.

There are two people in my life I adore – my niece and nephew. I wanted to give their mum and dad an amazing present that they could keep to remind them of the kids as tear away toddlers.
