Follow the tips below for good digital photography results - remember, have fun with it! All ages welcome!

USE A HIGH RESOLUTION SETTING ON YOUR CAMERA - MIN 1 MB that way we can enlarge your fairy portrait

WATCH YOUR LIGHTING take the picture inside in a brightly lit room, or on a cloudy day, no sun for no funny looking shadows or lines, even light on the face

WATCH YOUR OUTFIT Take the picture in a fairy dress, we don't need fairy wings as we add them, but the outfit helps! Often we change colours etc for the final art image.

TURN OFF THE FLASH for natural skin tones and natural results

USE A FIRM SURFACE such as carpet, concrete, a firm bed or your kitchen table - or a chair, mum's lap, a bean bag. This is for a neat outline of your faery....If they stand in grass, the grass will show on the final image

USE A FRIEND natural photos tell a story, forget the cheesy grins, play games, get your partner or buddy to make your subject smile, and forget the camera. HAVE SOME FUN, make a game of peek a boo, young babies and kids love peek a boo from behind the camera.

TAKE LOADS OF PICTURES the more times you press the button, the better the opportunity to get something special! Take 50 photos for one good shot.

TRY EVERYTHING... LOOK AT THE POSES ON OUR GALLERIES AND HAVE A GO AT A FEW the faeries sit, sit sideways, sit backwards and look over shoulder, lie, lie on tummy, lie on side, jump on the trampoline, crouch, run, jump, stand leaning forwards, stand looking backwards

DIFFERENT AGES SUIT DIFFERENT THINGS What can they do?? newborns can lie down, on a lap or a mattress, babies can sit or crawl, toddlers wobble, children love to pose for the camera

USE A SIMPLE SETTING like up against a wall near a window for light

REVIEW YOUR SHOTS You may love a sitting image, but if the best portrait is standing, you may need to select another fairy picture from our gallery.
